M7 Group To Begin Broadcast Service On Eutelsat 9° East From July 2017

Media Broadcast Satellite is to provide uplink services for all transponders on the Eutelsat 9B satellite at 9° East for the European pay-TV provider M7 Group from July 2017 onwards.

The company currently operates a total of 19 DVB-S and DVB-S2 platforms for various national and international customers at its teleport in Usingen. Additionally, the company has its own multiplexes on Astra 19.2° East, Eutelsat Hot Bird 13° East, Astra 23.5° East, Eutelsat 7B and Eutelsat 9B. It offers broadcasters in Europe services for satellite distribution including playout, signal contribution, multiplexing, encryption and uplink.

M7 uses Eutelsat 9B for the distribution of both local, thematic and international TV packages to cable and IPTV networks in the German-speaking markets. Through the Eutelsat 9B position, its serves more than 140 network partners and over one million viewers in the German-speaking markets. With the takeover of the uplink services on Eutelsat 9B, Media Broadcast Satellite says that it will considerably expand its collaboration with M7.

Uplink services will be provided for a total of nine DVB-S2 transponders carrying over 90 TV channels in both HD and SD quality. The switchover will take place as part of a coordinated transition period in July 2017 ensuring , claimed the company, full availability of all offers and services at any time. In addition to the uplink services, Media Broadcast Satellite will also provide further infrastructure services at the teleport in Usingen.

“For M7, the crucial factors for extending the business relationship were mainly the excellent 24/7/365 service as well as the high quality standards at Teleport Usingen we have already been demonstrating since last year for uplink services for other M7 core markets,” said Media Broadcast Satellite managing director Christian Fleischhauer. “With the provision of uplink services for Eutelsat 9B, we will ensure the continued TV channel distribution to the German speaking cable market and we are happy that M7 puts trust in the reliable service provisioning of Media Broadcast Satellite for this important market.”

My Take About This…..

For those that wants to learn more about this, let me explain briefly. The M7 group as a premium content providers (Pay-Tv) are preparing to broadcast some of it contents on Eutelsat 9° East. As you once know or have tracked the satellite from the beginning of discovery, we had some interesting package on the bird before they leave due to low patronage according to them, now the M7 group is to began services on Eutelsat 9°. The good thing is, mostly european packages are being unscrambled  by either CCCAM  or GSHARE. But i’m sure of forever on  Tiger T8 Ultra to include it to it server because they’re the only one having solution to Ote sports on Eutelsat 9° East.  M7 group also has some splendid content and it’s only those within the West of Nigeria that can really enjoy this with as low as an 100cm dish. So let’s hope for the best and watch. I will keep updating the house of any events, hoping next season would be cool for we sport lovers, but i don’t guarantee anything yet for now.
